#1 Challenge ESG DATA HUB: Applying AI for Measuring Sustainability
AI can help us solve some of the world’s most pressing sustainability challenges. We can use AI to collect and analyze data on greenhouse gas emissions / ESG criteria, helping us to better understand the causes and effects of organizational behavior.
Join us at the AI for Sustainability Hackathon to develop ESG data sources for Sustainista’s data marketplace and work together to build a better future.
Support: Sustainista, TCI consult, UNIDO
#2 Challenge Siemens: Automated Recycling enabled by AI
We developed a hardware scanner for materials – called The Cube. We want to recycle waste such as pet bottles or other waste. Please develop an AI solution (self-learning component) to holistically solve the challenge. What do you need to work on:
Technical aspects: The Cube infrastructure will be provided – as well as guidance on the hardware (data collection), but questions such as “How many images need to be analyzed?” needs to be solved (problem accuracy vs. time to deploy).
AI model: Select an AI approach (self-learning). How do you train and validate your AI model?
Business aspects: What business model patterns might be applied? Please develop a promising Business model.
User Experience Excellence: Please design your solution and interface. Sample data of the cube will be provided (camera data). The data will be provided in AWS.
